Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember flexing your muscles when you were little? Please help my students build their muscles so they are strong and feel good about their bodies!

My students love being active during physical education class, but they cannot play outside in their neighborhoods because it is not safe.

Physical education class is the only fitness many of my students receive. This is one of the reasons my students love physical education so much!

My Project

My students need medicine balls to strengthen their muscles (arms, shoulders, back, core, legs). We also need a storage rack to properly care for the equipment. My students live in a low socioeconomic community in Connecticut with few resources. With your help my students will be able to improve their muscular strength and endurance. I will be able to organize activities that target the arms, chest, shoulders, core, and legs. They will feel good about their bodies because they will be stronger!

With your donation you can help fight the increasing obesity rates by donating exercise equipment to our school.

The medicine balls will help my students attain a healthy body image. Thank you for your consideration for this healthy project!
