Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Help us use technology to enhance our dual language student's education!

My students attend a low socioeconomic school (K-4) in Omaha, Nebraska.

They are second graders who are working on learning two languages at one time. MP3 players will allow my students to listen to educational podcasts that I will create in both English and Spanish so they can enhance their vocabulary and second language!

My Project

With the MP3 players my students will be able to listen to podcasts in English and Spanish both at home and at school. This will allow them to practice reading (listening to stories while following along in a book), practice vocabulary, practice math facts, catch up on missed content quickly when absent, and more!

By supporting this project you will be helping young students become bilingual and give them an opportunity to use technology in a way that will be beneficial.

The materials will last a long time and will be able to be used for future classes!
