My Students

We can be more GREEN by using less paper and a document camera. Not only will it benefit the regular education students, it will serve as a hands-on tool for students with disabilities.

We can be more GREEN by using less paper and a document camera!

We are a very large second year school with 5-6 classes in each grade and 23-25 students in each class. Most of the teachers who have come to our school bring the knowledge and enthusiasm for incorporating technology into the classroom. We have shared equipment from room to room as much as possible. We would like to make some of these items permanent in our classrooms. By having a document camera in our room my students will be able to share their learning and ideas with the entire class.

My Project

The document camera will serve my students in many ways. It will allow us to present educational materials and alleviate the expense of numerous copies and wasted paper. The document camera will also make it easier for ALL to see by showing the images at the front of the classroom on a projection screen. Your help will ensure that the students at our elementary will continue to advance in this ever changing world of technology! It will also ensure that their learning of new material be more visual and engaging!

With the limited number of ELMOs available to the K-2 teachers at the school, it is very difficult to use the ELMOs effectively when you have to share with other teachers.

During literacy and math, I used it for whole group instruction with introducing and reviewing new skills and concepts.
