My Students

Communicating with technology is changing so quickly in today's business world. Unfortunately school districts can not keep up with the expense to keep technology current. Documents, applications, forms, and other business documents are now sent using scanners and PDF files.

The students in the business program are very dedicated and hard workers.

They love to use their hands and learn with "real life" applications. Our school district is very poor and can not afford the proper equipment in order to prepare them for the real world. There are so many devices that are used in the business world and my students are not being trained on them.

My Project

Donors, you already use this equipment every day in your office!! This is just the beginning - as you are aware, there are so many more devices being used. My students will benefit so much from learning how to communicate with scanners and PDF files - it is a must in today's world. By using the camera, the students will be able to digitally record their learning's for portfolio, education, and display purposes. In order to survive in the business environment, technological training is a must - if one does not have the technological skills, one will be left out in the dust for jobs - don't let that happen to hard working, determined, and beautiful students!

My students need a fighting chance to go to college and sustain jobs.

Technology is a big part of this and if they know how to use the equipment before being hired, perspective employees will hire them rather than hiring someone they would have to train.
