ipad for the istudents I teach in a high school in a low income (75% FRL) area. I teach Science (Biology) and technology at the school. Our school is currently focusing on technology

My students come from homes where they do not have technology and are not exposed to it. We attempt to train and teach our students the cutting edge technology. We also try to expose them to the new items on the market. During this exposure we teach how to write programs for the software and we then compare it to the same program on a different system.

We are asking for one of Apple's new ipads. We would like two of them but are going fo one for now. This will allow our students to use the tablet feature of the ipad to manually manipulate items on the screen. It will also allow them to see how the programs we have written for the iphone computer on the ipad. It will also allow our students to be at the forefront of new technology.

By funding this program you will assist in making sure that just because these students come from low income they don't have remain there. You will provide these students a cutting edge future in technology by fully preparing them with top of the line technology.
