Reading is essential, and students who enjoy it will read more thus boosting their reading levels! This is a rural school with very limited resources. I work with students from low income families. I teach 6th grade Reading and Language Arts. My reading area needs something for the students to sit on, such as, bean bags. Please help me create a comfortable place for students to enjoy the pleasures of reading.

Who likes to sit in a flat bean bag on a hard floor to read? I don't, and neither do my students. Many want to learn to read, but it's hard if there is nothing to sit on.

We need some oversize bean bags to place in the reading area of our room. This will help students who enjoy reading and (hopefully) to encourage the ones who don't.

Your help could make a difference in a student's reading ability by creating a relaxing and enjoyable reading area. This could effect how much he/she learns in reading and maybe his/her future.
