I teach physics, science and engineering. I teach students in grades 9-12. I also coach the after school FIRST robotics team. 63% of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch. Our school has a very diverse population with over half of our students being Native American or Hispanic. We work hard for every dollar we raise through our numerous fund-raising efforts. Our robotics team has become an inspiration to younger students in our community through our mentoring and outreach efforts.

As our robotics team is rapidly expanding, and more and more people are interested in programming and 3D design. To help them find an interest that will let them seek higher education or careers in these fields, we would like to get another laptop to give them the opportunity to find their interest.

With this laptop, the team will be able to maximize efficiency with programming the robot, and compete for several awards previously unattainable with one laptop. This laptop will be primarily used for 3D design and other computer aided design applications.

With your help, more students will realize what they enjoy, learn new skills, and become motivated to explore new possibilities, along with accelerating their thirst for knowledge.
