A pre-k 4 educator at a school facing budgetary constraints located in a high-need community, it is with utmost importance that I work to receive donations for my students to be provided resources to add to their academic development. It has been duly noted by many educators that technology has the ability to hook student attention during instructional time. The ELMO visual presenter has proven to revolutionize the way in which teachers instruct and students learn through interactive lessons. Areas in which it can ignite enhanced instruction for my pre-k students include, but are not limited to; alphabet identification and formation, storytelling, sequencing, rote-counting, one-to-one correspondence, and letter identification and formation. Through donations for the ELMO visual presenter to be placed in my classroom, my students will be notice a more engaging level of instruction. Donations will also prove that school budgetary constraints will not define the level of teaching administered in my classroom.
