My students love making their own books...and acting them out! I photograph our in-class productions and have students assist in putting together power point presentations. However, showing our work is difficult, as we do not have our own LCD projector. Additionally, my students face many barriers to learning, because of their disabilities. Being able to use the LCD projector regularly, not just to show our work, but also as a medium for captivating lessons, would greatly enhance my students' ability to learn. At the year's end, we hope to invite parents and other community members to a celebration of our work - using the LCD projector. As new immigrants to our country, my students' parents are so proud and supportive of their children's learning - I welcome the chance to celebrate their efforts as well.
