Welcome to the exciting world of exploring the human body. " Its all about ME" students learning about the structure and function of the human body.

Yes, we are the anatomy class. What's more important than understanding the body that you have been living with for the last 15-17years, and one that you will need for the rest of your life. This class teaches inner city, 70% subsidized lunch, high school students about the human body and how it works. A fun interesting class that educates and empowers my students. It may be the only chance a student gets to actually learn the real facts about how a fetus grows and what are the effects of diet on how the body functions.There is limited funding in my school district for lab equipment and there is zero funding for consumables. So the most economical method is to use internet resources, these need to be copied(for individual student copies) or projected to the entire class.

An LCD projector will bring the exciting inner world of the human body to my students. A chance to explore the human body without expensive equipment, class presentations by the teacher, and a chance for students to present too. Research and presentation - all necessary skills for the college bound student and yes, YES all my students are college bound( at least I am trying to get them to buy into that).

Your help will make my class better..... its popular already as students love to learn, especially about their bodies. Thank you for helping - your help will make my class a more versatile teaching and learning situation.Students will get copies and there will be enrichment using various Internet anatomy resources and being able to project these for the entire class.
