Welcome to the Jungle... I am a 2nd grade inclusion teacher approaching my 3rd year of teaching. My students live in a high-need community and most are on free lunch.

Since there is a lack of supplies for organization, the students consider their binders a jungle. Everybody does not have a binder, so they have folders which are torn up by the 2nd month of school. They would like to take home their work nice and neat, especially for those who do not have backpack.

Having the notebooks and sheet protectors will allow the students to take home their work without any flaws from their environment. The name of their notebooks would be J.U.N.G.L.E. (Just an Ultimate Notebook to Get Learners Excited) binders. The binders are made in order for the student to take responsibility and pride in their work and also in themselves.

By making this possible for my students, they will understand if they take pride in their work others are willing to listen, look, and learn from them.
