My students need 15 different cross-curricular activities, including a Volcano Model, a set of prepared slides, a microscope, social studies games and a set of take-it-to-your-seat language centers.

My 6th grade students come alive in teaching the areas of Social Studies and Science. These 6th graders enjoy their Science Fair and enjoy teaching other classes. Our community and school district is of high poverty, so the supplies for these areas are extremely slim.

I feel that my class is at a disadvantage in learning Science and Social Studies due to the poverty aspect in our school and community. I want to give my class more tools to learn in an exciting manner and keep them all interested in education. Science and Social Studies is very important and in my class we have a Fair for all of the other grades to visit. My class could benefit from these tools, learn, and teach others at our school.

My class needs these 15 different Science and Social Studies tools and experiments to fulfill that exciting drive they all have for these subjects. I know that my classroom will benefit greatly from these tools and I will be able to keep learning fun.

Your help will ensure that my diverse classroom will have a great chance to experience activities and learning they otherwise wouldn't without these supplies. You will make it possible for each student to see first hand how energy has impacted our life or how far we have come exploring the universe.
