Everyone has a place to write! I am a kindergarten teacher with 24 5- and 6-year old students in my class. This year I am teaching at a new school which has been given a limited amount of funds to open the school year. This item is considered an "extra" and is not provided by the school.

Avid writers are looking for a place to store their creative writing! My kindergarten students are learning how to organize their writing in a writing folder but have a hard time keeping their paper nice, neat, and wrinkle-free.

I would like to purchase a drawing and writing journal for each of my kindergarten students this year. These journals would provide each student a place where their daily writing could be bound and stored neatly and orderly. These journals would also allow students the opportunity to re-read their writings and participate in self-reflection at a later time.

Yes, each student in my class is provided with writing paper daily, but how awesome would it be to have their kindergarten writing bound into a writing journal? These journals would serve many purposes, as writing is an intricate part of the kindergarten curriculum. It is a topic that allows the students to apply self expression and current knowledge. These journals would provide positive feedback for future writings.
