I teach in a high school special resource classroom in a rural school district. We have no industry and few businesses to support the tax proportions of the school. We depend on state formulas for our general funding.

My students are trying to overcome several deficiencies in writing abilities. Poor handwriting, spelling, and grammar. I believe the introduction of computer technology will assist by making editing and revising reasonable. I believe that a computer will assist in that area.

I believe that it is necessary to add a computer to the resource classroom. The technology will enhance the students ability to research and write reports as well as edit and print.

With your help it will be possible for my students to complete research projects, write reports, and resumes. Not only will the students gain computer skills but with many jobs today requiring the ability to do research on the computer and report the findings it will enhance the students overall knowledge and computer skills. This will not only improve classroom and educational skills it will enhance life skills and potential work skills.
