I work at a special education school, servicing emotionally disturbed, learning disabled, and other special education classified students. Our students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Over 95% of the student body is eligible for free lunch and over 90% receive public assistance. These factors come together and place our children at a huge disadvantage, but we are committed to providing these students with a rigorous academic and therapeutic program. The school’s ethnicity is as follows: 60% Hispanic, 30% African American, 8% Caucasian, and 2% Asian. I am an art and technology teacher, and we recently received a grant for Adobe PhotoShop. This software allows my students to create memorable photos, cinematic slide shows, movies, and more. It is a terrific learning tool, especially for my students who are planning to study visual and graphic arts in college. Unfortunately, I am only able to install this software on one computer, because we need to purchase licensing agreements for the other classroom computers. I am requesting 4 Adobe PhotoShop licensing agreements for my pupils. By supporting this project, you will give my students the opportunity to use PhotoShop with other computers in the classroom. Thank you so much for helping my students!
