"Print" journalism is dead! I teach journalism to 9th -12th grade students at an inner-city high school in Southern California.
Our printer ran out of toner months ago and we have been forced to go to the city library to print out the school newspaper in order to send our copy sheets to the district printshop.
My journalism students are in need of a HP Laserjet 5000N printer cartridge so that we may print in the classroom.
Our school newspaper is the voice of our school but my students are struggling to be heard in a timely fashion because of the printing difficulties. Your generosity will help make them feel like professional journalists by allowing them a working printer in the classroom.
