I teach K-5 art in a high need inner city charter school. I want all of my students to start thinking about their role models and heroes.

I want my students to be able to walk down the hall and be surrounded by art and people who inspire their lives. So the entire school is voting for who their heroes are. Then the we are going to paint a mural of our heroes in the hall.

Everything is ready to go but paint is just not in the budget right now. My students are in need of role models and heroes in their lives and this is an amazing chance to let them learn about some great ones.

You are going to help my students learn about men and women who they can look up to as role models and heroes. While at the same time helping to create a beautiful piece of art in an elementary school.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
