Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am teaching a bridge k-2 special education class in Harlem, NYC. We are located in the heart of Harlem.My students are just beginning to take up a pencil or crayon and explore the joy of writing. Having left teaching kindergarten six years ago, I gave all my supplies to another teacher. It's expensive to rebuild the arsenal of supplies needed in early childhood. The Copernicus writing station will organize and motivate my early writers. It will have a place for everything that the little writers can reach and use.You would be enabling my students in fostering growth and development in a lost art form....writing. THANKS!
