Hello All, I'm way to lazy to walk or run long distances. This is right up my alley. I've decided to hook onto this initiative which I feel is very beneficial to the communities around us. I am joining other facial hair fanatics all over the country and will be growing a mustache for a four week stretch. Please support me (and the children) in this endeavor. You will notice that there are some projects listed below that your money directly supports! You can choose the project that you would like to support and contribute any amount of money you would like. I know times are tough financially for everyone so I’m not expecting much, but it’s even more important during difficult times like this. These projects just need a little extra funding to make a big difference in children’s lives. Mustaches for Kids is a volunteer-run organization started in Los Angeles in 1999 to do good and have fun by growing Mustaches for children's charities. Since its humble beginnings, Mustaches for Kids satellite chapters have spread across the continent, a steady expansion that is not unlike the measured, deliberate growth of a Mustache. Mustaches for Kids has enjoyed the efforts of an impressive number of Growers who, collectively, have raised over half a million dollars for the children's charities. Here's how it works: Each year, during the four-week Growing Season, Growers sprout sweet, sweet Mustaches. Per Mustaches for Kids bylaws, they shave their faces, except for the Mustache, a minimum of one time per week and solicit donations from friends, family, co-workers, and people in the community.
