So, there's a couple of elementary schools that are really in need of help. One doesn't have enough money to buy tape measures and yardsticks and such to teach children how to measure things! The other is a first grade class that needs pencil sharpeners - they only have old manual ones, and the teacher ends up having a lot of class time wasted because of sharpening pencils. Both of which seem like really stupid problems to exist, to me - kids are losing out because the school doesn't have enough money for *pencil sharpeners and yardsticks???* That's ridiculous. So here's an opportunity to give even a little bit to help them out. I'm hoping that between everyone who reads my blog, (including myself,) we can get together $150 to send to these classes, through the website "DonorsChoose.org." Which is an awesome site.
