Family and friends are so thoughtful and generous and ask what to get Maisy for her birthday. While she loves new toys as much as anybody, she is quite fortunate and subsequently has more stuff than she needs, while many kids her age do not. While she loves new toys as much as anybody, she is quite fortunate and subsequently has more stuff than she needs, while many kids her age do not. We thought donorschoose.org could be a great way to channel your generosity in a meaningful way. We hand picked some projects for local classrooms in need that relate to important things Maisy's life now: - puzzles (because she has always done so well with puzzles!), - nice classroom rug (because her nice classrooms have newer rugs that she uses daily), and - books (because she is learning to read and has the supplies that she needs). One detail to share: you may notice that the projects we selected are near their deadline and are nowhere near fully funded. What happens if you donate but they don't meet their goal? You can't get a refund but you can redirect your donation to a different donorschoose project or let the teacher choose.
