My class uses an overhead visual presenter (Elmo) connected to a data projector to share their writings as well as for me to model and demonstrate writing. Two years ago I purchased my own Elmo presenter and an Epson PowerLite S3 multimedia projector so that I could have immediate and continual use in my 7th grade classroom without having to sign any equipment out within the school building. My class uses an overhead visual presenter (Elmo) connected to a data projector to share their writings as well as for me to model and demonstrate writing. Two years ago I purchased my own Elmo presenter and an Epson PowerLite S3 multimedia projector so that I could have immediate and continual use in my 7th grade classroom without having to sign any equipment out within the school building. There were several data projectors to share with 30 teachers and 750 students, but no Elmos. Because the students and myself have used these two pieces of equipment on a daily basis, I am now requesting $175 for a replacement bulb on the Epson data projector, or the replacement bulb, an Epson 135 Watt Lamp Module for the PowerLite S3 Multimedia Projector.
