Let's face it. A lot of people consider the ACC the minor league of college football. But you know this is just a phase. It wasn't long ago that the boys from the Florida Panhandle were hoisting championship trophies in Tallahassee. The giant on the southern tip of Florida will awaken once again. The new boys on the block in Blacksburg have garnered national respect and many other schools are poised to ascend to the national spotlight. The heart and soul of the ACC may reside on the hardwoods, but that doesn't mean there's not enough heart and soul for the gridiron to get some respect, as well.
