<h3>Two Big Things</h3> <ul> <li>Our math department has quietly become the most advanced in the area.</li> <li>Bill Gates wants to cover half of the cost of the equipment our students can use.</li> </ul> <h3>Where We Are & Where We Are Going</h3> <p>Angela Cho is using one class set of great TI-84 graphing calculators and Valerie Smith's classes are rolling with natural display, TI-30 XS calculators. They both help make the math visible to our students.</p> <p>Our other teachers want our students, YOUR CHILDREN, to have the best tools for classwork and high stakes efforts on the SAT II and ACT tests. One class set of the successor to the TI-84, N-Spire, and two class sets of TI-30 XS calculators will make that happen.</p> <p>We've set up three projects that need your help to be funded. Already, Bill Gates has decided to match your gift. He's given 50 percent of the funds needed. This means that we just need to match Bill and our students will learn more, hands-on and eyes wide open.</p> <h3>Let's Do This</h3> <ul> <li>Donate 100 dollars and receive a detailed thank you with pictures and 7 student notes.</li> <li>DonorsChoose makes sure you get a tax deduction.</li> </ul> hide
