Dear Friends, It is with mixed emotions that I post this message. As you may know, the urge to help others has always been strong in my heart. Unfortunately, this urge has recently enlarged beyond my heart and landed on my face. I am joining forces with other like-hearted do-good'ers as part of Mustaches for Kids Baltimore, a volunteer-based organization dedicated to growing mustaches and helping local kids. That's right folks, for the next month I will be subjecting myself to public humiliation and private doubt by growing what will no-doubt be a ridiculous looking mustache. In order to justify this endeavor I need your support. Will you to "sponsor" my mustache for $1/day, or $30 for the entire mustache Growing Season? For the kids? I am raising money for local classrooms, many in high poverty areas. I've chosen a group of teacher-submitted projects (see below) I found particularly compelling so we can give our next generation the best chance to learn and succeed. All donations are directed through this website, DonorsChoose.org, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, which means while you're helping the kids, you get a nice little tax break too!
