Friends, Family, and Those Who Enjoy Watching People Make Themselves Look Like Asses: This year, I will be participating in a charity event called "Mustaches for Kids". The concept is simple: Grow a potentially horrible-looking mustache for a month to raise money for children in need. From Novemeber 20 until December 17, I will not be allowed to shave my mustache. No beard. No goatee. No porn 'stache. Just a glorious, full mustache, plain and simple. I am asking for your support in the form of a contribution to one of the several projects listed on my donation page. You can view a number of potential projects and choose where your donation will be sent. Your donation will help low-income schools with essential supplies they otherwise could not afford. It will also give you free license to ridicule my facial hair from now until mid-December. Whatever your motive, a donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated. You can also visit m4kla.com for more information about Mustaches for Kids' L.A. chapter. Come back often for updates, the event schedule, and photos. There are also links to the group's Facebook and Myspace pages. On a personal note, I will be growing in honor of my father's mustache, which was swallowed whole by a goatee in the mid-90s and has not been seen since. Thanks! Bob hide
