I'm turning 30! And frankly, I'm one lucky duck - I have amazing friends and family, a roof over my head, a beautiful partner, work, and the education that got me here. So why would I want material gifts? Instead, do my (and these kids) a solid and give $30 - one dollar for each year I've had the good fortune to be on this earth - to a classroom in need. It's crucial, especially for kids living in low-income areas, to get access to the best education possible, so they have a better opportunity to break the cycle and go on to live positive, productive lives.
