This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from low income high poverty homes and attend our campus, which happens to be a Title I school. They're an enthusiastic bunch with a lot of school spirit and are willing to give their all to make the school a better place!

The students have a lot of school spirit, and this much is evident in the various school events we do, such as our annual (albeit crazy) Senior Video, Senior Grad Night, dances, pep rallies, and everything in between.

They've got a zest for their school and take a sense of pride in it.

My Project

Students will learn the value of utilizing a device to film aerial video and how newer technologies will aid in their goal of not only filming various events throughout the building, but will allow them to flex their proverbial creative muscles to creatively solve problems.

This drone is more than just a device, its a learning tool that will be utilized to achieve a greater end product.

Being able to film sporting events from aerial angles, filming exterior shots of the building, or simply even doing group shots of students, the drone will be such a great tool in allowing students to see their ideas come to fruition.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
