Giving my students the ability to work on iPads would help them in areas such as letter recognition, the alphabet, phonemic awareness and numbers sense. Using this would only help them gain confidence and develop the " I can do it " mind set. This technology would help give them a better understanding of concepts, increase academics and be used as another effective intervention tool. More importantly, it will let the students do this while having FUN! Lets face it, these days, students are eager to get their hands on technology and are willing to try anything in front of them if given the opportunity. With your generous donation, I will be able to improve the learning of my kindergarten students by building a stronger community of active engaged learners!
