I teach at a very small rural school in Missouri and many of my students are reluctant readers. For the most part, they seem to like the books that I teach and I really want to share my favorite comic book series because it is a wonderfully compassionate book that teaches us to be wonderful human beings to one another. My students are great, but (like most people) can be a bit closed-minded.
