Our Wolverine Band students are fired-up and passionate about music. Every day they come to class ready and excited to learn and grow through collaboration and teamwork. They come from all walks of life and from different backgrounds, but the one thing they all share is a love of music. Many students in our program are from low-income households where families can't afford an instrument or even simple accessories for their students to play, but we always find a way to get instruments into the hands of students who want to learn! Because our students come from a small town, we strive to expose them to as many musical opportunities as possible - including field trips, competition festivals, and workshops. These opportunities, paired with high performance standards, are ensuring student success in music at the middle school level and beyond!
