I have the pleasure of teaching 42 amazing fourth grade kiddos! These students are the picture of perseverance and dedication. For 90 percent of my students, school is the only place they eat a nutritious meal, and feel loved. For most, school is their safe place, since the situation at home is not always ideal. My students rock! You would never know from looking at them the severity of some of their situations. No matter what has gone on the day before, they come in brand-new with smiles on their faces! They show strength unimaginable for their tender years. I have hard-working students who understand that their education now is a prediction of their future. They all have bright futures ahead, and aspirations out of this world. I know they can attain all their goals as long as they have a helping hand.
