I teach a 9–12 Interactive Media CTE pathway at Horizon Science Academy Dayton High School in Dayton, OH. Our program includes courses in Design Techniques, Creating and Editing Digital Graphics, and Multimedia Image Management Techniques. Many of our students come from low-income households, and I strive to use this class as a way to inspire them to pursue their biggest dreams and discover opportunities they may not have known were possible. My goal is to help them build the confidence and self-belief to achieve things they never thought they could accomplish.
