This new semester will be an exciting one for my students. Algebra 1 will build upon their knowledge of slope to begin solving systems of equations and determine which products a company should offer its customers to maximize profit. Algebra 2 will learn how to use logarithms and geometric sequences to make an informed decision about buying a car. My students learn best from one another, and these supplies for the new semester will allow them to continue teaching each other. They will use the chart paper and markers to create posters and present their findings to their classmates. The flashcards, number lines, and multiplication tables will give them a quick reference and help the students reinforce these fundamental math skills.
