My students will greatly benefit from the opportunity to move as they work in small learning groups. I'm requesting 10 stools that will provide needed movement in order for them to access the curriculum to be used in my small learning groups. Students will be able to move while sitting on the active learning stools, which will promote their focus and engagement in learning activities. Students will be able to move while sitting in these stools, which will help to keep them actively engaged in their work. Movement help children think and perform better in school. These stools are tools that can help children with a variety of disabilities stay seated for longer periods of time. The funding of this project will make a big difference in my class.
