Join me, as I take you into the world of my Kindergarten classroom! These four, five, and six year old children are excited to come to school everyday. They come with smiles on their faces and excitement in their hearts as they eagerly await the knowledge of what they will learn and experience each and everyday. Many of my students are English Language Learners, many are immigrants or refugees from other countries, and many were born into poverty. Not one of those above mentioned facts shadow over the more important fact that my students are just simply amazing! To try and meet all the needs of my students, items such as shoes, clothing, and snacks are bought which limits the amount of money spent on supplementary materials for the classroom that would benefit the students learning.
