My students will learn a lifelong skill that will enable them to be more independent adults in the years ahead. They will learn reading, math, and practical skills in a fun activity that they won't even realize that they are learning. The kitchen appliances will help because we do not have a kitchen area per se, but these will allow us to turn our counter into a cooking area. The gloves will allow our little fingers to learn to use a knife without having to worry about injuring ourselves. We want to grow up into the most independent adults that we are capable of being and learning to cook is one skill we will use all of our lives.
