I teach in a Title 1 school where most of the students come from low-income families. English is not my students' first language. I teach 12:1:1 special education classroom. My students have different kinds of special needs, such as autism, intellectual disabilities, and speech and language impairments. My students work hard, and they do not let their special needs prevent them from accomplishing every performance task.
