I am a 6th grade science teacher who wants students to do labs at home. I am committed to providing my students with hands-on experiences from their home. The supplies requested will help the students learn how ocean currents determine climates world wide and why micro plastics move throughout the world in the ocean. The beakers will used for measurement in a variety of labs and the density blocks will be used to teach students volume and density. The density of water and plastics is central to understanding ocean currents and the movement of micro plastics worldwide. The supplies that I am requesting will be used when we are in person at the classroom again. I currently have very few beakers and no density blocks.
