I have 22 kindergartners from diverse families. They have different backgrounds, speak different languages, and have a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds. We are a K-5 school in California with about 400 students. My families are extremely supportive and are asked to give all year long. They want the best for their children and do whatever they can. I am hoping that organizations like this allow me the opportunity to give back to them as well and create more opportunities for my students.
