When I use my i-Pad in class my students go crazy! They love interacting with it. Working apps and creating videos of themselves reading. I need to have technology that all students can use to access the curriculum. The iPad would be used as an additional resource to have students work on blended learning app as well as creating videos of themselves to improve their reading fluency. I can also use it to model and demonstrate lessons to help my students to access the general education curriculum. The document camera and projector will be used with the entire class to share techniques and strategies to unlock learning. It is critical that students with special needs be given the same opportunities to learn the same materials as their “non-disabled” peers, but in a new innovative way. In this country where everyone has a smart phone, we need smart technology in the classroom for everyone, not just for the haves.
