My students are enthusiastic sixth-graders in a Title I elementary school in the South Bronx. Despite facing economic challenges, they bring incredible energy and determination to their learning each day. These young minds are curious, creative, and eager to explore new ideas, whether they're diving into a new book or tackling challenging math problems. What makes them truly special is their resilience and supportive nature. They celebrate each other's successes and help their classmates when they struggle. Many come from multilingual homes, bringing rich cultural perspectives to our classroom discussions. While some are reading near grade level and others are working to catch up, all share a genuine desire to learn and grow. With the right support and resources, there's no limit to what these amazing students can achieve.
