Welcome to our K–2 special education classroom at a Title I elementary school! My students are amazing learners with moderate to severe disabilities who each bring unique strengths, personalities, and ways of communicating. Some use words, while others communicate through AAC devices, pictures, gestures, or eye gaze. We celebrate every milestone and believe every child deserves meaningful opportunities to learn, communicate, and grow. Our classroom is filled with hands-on, sensory-rich activities that build literacy, communication, independence, and confidence. We also believe families are essential partners in learning, and we're committed to providing practical tools that help continue literacy and communication at home. Thank you for helping create opportunities for every child to succeed.
