My students are growing in a time where technology is readily available to most of them but not to all of them. I have seen the benefits of students using technology daily to help with math as well as reading. This is the generation that uses their parents technology for gaming and while there are many studies that say students learn best through visual learning I feel that through apps and the audible functions iPads allow will help students to differentiate their learning for themselves. I know that by allowing my students the ability to take learning into their own hands while using technology that it will drive them to be motivated to take charge of the information that they are intaking as well as use it in a practical way.
