I can honestly say that I work in a very positive and encouraging school environment with some of the best staff and students in the world. The greatest attribute that my students have is that they truly try their best. I explain to them that nobody is an expert in everything, but everyone is an expert in something. Some things might come really easily for them, but other things will be very difficult. After they realize this, I tell them that just because something might be difficult at first, that doesn't mean that they won't succeed in it. They will have to work hard, but, if they put their minds to it, they can accomplish what they might have once thought would be impossible. I'm so lucky to be able to see them do their best every day, struggle through some things, and prove to themselves that hard work really does pay off!
