Students at our school vary in academic ability levels. Students use a variety of programs and direct teaching strategies in order to meet the needs of every student in the classroom. Students will be able to improve their reading accuracy and fluency by listening to the text and silently reading along with it. The reading activity centers will help my students practice reading strategies such as "five finger retell" and "rainbow arrays." The reading activities are a fun way to provide hands-on reading strategy practice. Without headphones the students can't use Lexia, a fantastic reading program to its fullest potential.
