My class will use Chromebooks to research content, read digital books, and create digital products. It is important for Special Needs students to have as many tools as possible available for them to meet their diverse learning needs. My students love to research, but become frustrated with the number of computers available for use is limited. Increasing the number of computers in my Resource classroom would allow more students to access information at the same time as we implement 21st Century academic standards in the Special Needs Resource classroom. Having access to technology is important for all 21st Century learners.
