Having a document camera will allow me to properly demonstrate important print concepts for my students while they are learning from home. I can also use the document camera to share books with individual students that are at their appropriate reading level. I also chose some read aloud books that will help students understand more about COVID, social distancing, and emotions. I feel that it is important to answer students' questions in a manner that is both true and developmentally appropriate. In the digital, distance learning environment, it is extremely important to address social emotional learning. Some of the selected books will help students identify emotions they are having as well as getting the opportunity to learn coping strategies. Thank you for supporting my students as we all continue to learn and grow!
