Welcome to our STEM and Computer Science lab! In our New York City public elementary school, students explore, create, and solve real-world problems. Every day, young learners enter eager to think critically, collaborate with peers, and discover how technology and engineering shape their world. We focus on unplugged STEM and CS activities to build a strong foundation in computational thinking. Learning without screens lets students master algorithms, pattern recognition, debugging, and structural design through physical, tactile experiences. Our students learn loops through interactive routines, explore algorithms via physical mazes, and study mechanical engineering by building with gears and simple machines. To keep this learning active, we need hands-on supplies like building sets, coding cards, logic games, and craft materials. Your support gives our NYC students the tools to innovate and excel.
