Every single student in our classes has to record video and take pictures to get the repeated, hands-on practice they need to excel at commercial photography and journalism. Since we do not have enough cameras, however, the students often have to work in large groups that are unwieldy, lengthening the time it takes for them to complete assignments and even discouraging some from practicing their skills at all. It's taken four years to raise the money to buy the cameras we have. We just need one more camera to meet our goal of providing one camera for every four students.
